Need For Speed: SHIFT

Need For Speed Shift is the latest iteration in the Need For Speed series, it's a complete overhaul trying to win its fans back. If you don't already know, this game is meant to be a sim (Simulation) so you'll be racing on tracks not streets. Well the good news is that it isn't doing a terrible job at it. The games visuals are beautiful and the RPG (Role-Playing Game) like gameplay truly make this a fun game. You get rewarded for pretty much anything you do. You can then use what you've earned to upgrade your car, unlock more races, better cars, etc. This gameplay really drives you to keep on playing, trying to get further and further.

The Beatles: Rock Band

The Beatles: Rock Band is a good game with some things that a few might wish were different. The game only has 45 songs which kinda sucks, though not as much as the fact that none of the Rock Band DLC (Downloadable Content) songs are playable. One thing to note is that the entire set list is comprised of only The Beatles songs. There are also no customizations to be made, you play as The Beatles and that's it, though they do change depending on the venue in which your playing. There is also the ability to use up to 3 mics while singing which is something new to Rock Band. In the end the games story mode is what fans will look forward to the most as you follow the career of The Beatles from the beginning to the end, any fan will enjoy watching them grow throughout the years. Much like Guitar Hero's band iterations, there are unlockable photographs and videos. It is obvious it's targeted towards true fans of the band, and true fans will have a great time.

Guitar Hero 5

Guitar Hero 5 is the best guitar hero yet. The amount of additions this game has are amazing. By far the greatest addition to the game is party play mode. Once the game is turned on it will start playing through the library of songs that are available, at any time if you hear a song that you like all you have to do is press one button on your instrument of choice and you'll start playing it. You can add other players, get rid of players, change the difficulty, or change the song, all without the trouble of quitting that the past games have had. This is the most accessible music game to date.
