The Beatles: Rock Band
The Beatles: Rock Band is a good game with some things that a few might wish were different. The game only has 45 songs which kinda sucks, though not as much as the fact that none of the Rock Band DLC (Downloadable Content) songs are playable. One thing to note is that the entire set list is comprised of only The Beatles songs. There are also no customizations to be made, you play as The Beatles and that's it, though they do change depending on the venue in which your playing. There is also the ability to use up to 3 mics while singing which is something new to Rock Band. In the end the games story mode is what fans will look forward to the most as you follow the career of The Beatles from the beginning to the end, any fan will enjoy watching them grow throughout the years. Much like Guitar Hero's band iterations, there are unlockable photographs and videos. It is obvious it's targeted towards true fans of the band, and true fans will have a great time.Released: September 9, 2009

Guitar Hero 5
Guitar Hero 5 is the best guitar hero yet. The amount of additions this game has are amazing. By far the greatest addition to the game is party play mode. Once the game is turned on it will start playing through the library of songs that are available, at any time if you hear a song that you like all you have to do is press one button on your instrument of choice and you'll start playing it. You can add other players, get rid of players, change the difficulty, or change the song, all without the trouble of quitting that the past games have had. This is the most accessible music game to date.

Batman: Arkham Asylum
The games story is about Batman returning The Joker to Arkham Asylum. When things suddenly take a twist as he arrives, the Bat soon realizes that it was all a setup. The Joker intended to go back to what he calls "home" so he can release all the criminals Batman has put away, to destroy him. It's story is basically you being in what would be considered Batman's hell. When it comes to gameplay, it's awesome, the fighting style is crisp and unique along with its graphics. The story is also sharp and exciting, as you encounter some of Batman's greatest foes. There is lots of fun to be had with this game that's for sure. This is as close as you will ever get to feeling like Batman, the developers took there time to give you a truly awesome experience. If there was one thing I'd complain about it would just be that the game isn't long enough. It is with out a doubt the best Batman game ever created.Released: August 25, 2009

Wolfenstein
You play as B.J. Blazkowicz an agent who discovers an artifact that the enemy can use as a weapon. You get missions from contacts and then decide which ones you want to do, giving you a feeling of freedom. Your weapons are upgradeable, and your weapon range is quite nice, you can go from standard realistic weapons to more sci-fi type weapons. There's also special powers given to you from an amulet that allows you to see things otherwise unnoticed, along with other features. The multiplayer component isn't all that great though, offering a discouraging three modes compared to what us FPS (First-Person Shooter) fans are used to with games like Call of Duty and Killzone.Released: August 18, 2009

Madden 10
Madden 10 emulates the real feel of a football game and looks beautiful while doing it. Though of course as any other game it has a few hiccups. We all know its going to appeal to football fans either way but at least its worth noting that it really is a good game from its presentation to its controls.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for the PSN (PlayStation Network) plays just like it used to back in the day, giving anyone who remembers playing it a nostalgic feeling inside, the game boasts a 50 character roster playable from the beginning. G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra
As most movie tie-in games, it sucks, plain and simple, its one of those games that was probably rushed and made in a year, the ones made just to milk people for some more money. The controls suck, it has co-op, what more can I say?Released: August 4, 2009

Fat Princess
Released on the PSN (PlayStation Network), Fat Princess costs $15 and contains multiple modes along with support for up to 32 players. The game's main mode involves you trying to return your princess home from the enemy and protect her until the time is up while the enemy tries to do the same. You basically have to get the princess from one end to another and keep her there, the problem is the enemy will feed her if they get the chance which in turn makes her fatter, thus making it hard to move her as fast as you'd like. Fat Princess offers hours of fun and excitement for everyone.Released: July 30, 2009

The King Of Fighters 12
It was meant to put The King Of Fighters series back on the map but completely failed in that attempt. The game lacks in many aspects, from characters and stages to story and modes. It is not worth the full retail price of $60 with all of its limited content though true fans of the series may still find enjoyment playing against a friend.

G-Force
G-Force is generally a pretty fun game. Though its primarily for kids you'll find yourself having a good time fighting toasters and mice amongst other enemies. As with most games you'll be able to upgrade the variety of weapons from which you have. Though this is a movie tie in game it doesn't do much to tell you the story, maybe they were expecting people to see the movie then play the game?, I don't know. Something that's unique is how the game comes with 2 3D glasses for you to use if the option is turned on, just don't go expecting something extravagant though. At times the game can feel somewhat long. Seeing as how it is directed towards children the game is not hard and provides help at any time with the press of a button.Released: July 21, 2009

The Bigs 2
This game is an improvement over the original. It does what it set out to do, and that's being a great arcade baseball game. The become a legend mode is fun and sometimes hard which makes it satisfying. The Bigs 2 is a fun game that is great to play with friends.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is a 2D fighting game filled with fast paced action, beautiful design, a bunch of unlockables, great characters, etc. BlazBlue will probably appeal to most fighting fans and maybe even those somewhat interested in fighting games. The controls are fluid and accessible but at the same time can be used for some sick fighting skills. Match replays from online multiplayer can be saved and viewed later in the games replay theater. One thing that makes this game different from most fighting games is how the story mode offers 3 different pathways for each fighter.

Call of Juarez: Bound In Blood
It's the prequel to the original Call of Juarez. The game is about Ray and Thomas McCall, two brothers who left the army to save there family. When there town gets destroyed they vow to restore it which then leads them west on the search for gold. Due to there absence from the army, they are set to be hunted down. At some point while on the run you meet someone who gives you information about a treasure. Throughout the game you'll have the option of playing as either Ray or Thomas. Each brother has there own style and unique attributes, whether it's being strong or agile, you choose. Some side missions are offered to you but for the most part you'll find yourself just traveling and killing people which for some can seem repetitive and others just plain fun. You'll also be able to duel which is really cool and tests your reflexes.Released: June 30, 2009

Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen
Your given the choice of playing as either the Autobots or the Decepticons. Like the movie, its about figuring out who or what The Fallen is. One really awesome thing is the ability to switch between each transformation on the fly, its really fun jumping as you transform from a car to a robot. The controls aren't well thought out though, which sucks. The developers should have chosen better controls instead of having one button do three different things. At times it tends to seem somewhat repetitive considering the majority of the game consists of "kill everything", but for those of you who enjoy that this wont be a problem. You'll find fun in the multiplayer due to being able to play against real people instead of the computer, along with its different modes.Released: June 23, 2009

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits
Guitar Hero: Smash Hits is a compilation of what are considered the best songs from Guitar Hero 1, 2, 3, Rock the 80's, and Aerosmith. What makes this game fun is the fact that now you'll be able to play all the songs you love from those games with the whole band!. This is a real plus for those of us with a love for singing or drumming seeing as how the Guitar Hero franchise has had some truly awesome songs in there older iterations. The only thing that I don't understand is why this wasn't made as DLC (Downloadable Content). The game has nearly 50 songs in total so don't expect anything more. Another not welcomed addition is the fact that now songs that used to be hard aren't as hard which takes away from the competitiveness.Released: June 16, 2009
