Guitar Hero 5
Guitar Hero 5 is the best guitar hero yet. The amount of additions this game has are amazing. By far the greatest addition to the game is party play mode. Once the game is turned on it will start playing through the library of songs that are available, at any time if you hear a song that you like all you have to do is press one button on your instrument of choice and you'll start playing it. You can add other players, get rid of players, change the difficulty, or change the song, all without the trouble of quitting that the past games have had. This is the most accessible music game to date.

Madden 10
Madden 10 emulates the real feel of a football game and looks beautiful while doing it. Though of course as any other game it has a few hiccups. We all know its going to appeal to football fans either way but at least its worth noting that it really is a good game from its presentation to its controls.

The King Of Fighters 12
It was meant to put The King Of Fighters series back on the map but completely failed in that attempt. The game lacks in many aspects, from characters and stages to story and modes. It is not worth the full retail price of $60 with all of its limited content though true fans of the series may still find enjoyment playing against a friend.

The Bigs 2
This game is an improvement over the original. It does what it set out to do, and that's being a great arcade baseball game. The become a legend mode is fun and sometimes hard which makes it satisfying. The Bigs 2 is a fun game that is great to play with friends.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is a 2D fighting game filled with fast paced action, beautiful design, a bunch of unlockables, great characters, etc. BlazBlue will probably appeal to most fighting fans and maybe even those somewhat interested in fighting games. The controls are fluid and accessible but at the same time can be used for some sick fighting skills. Match replays from online multiplayer can be saved and viewed later in the games replay theater. One thing that makes this game different from most fighting games is how the story mode offers 3 different pathways for each fighter.

Prototype
Think of this game as The Hulk Ultimate Destruction with some new paint and added work. Prototype is one of the most fun games you'll find today. You are a fuckin beast in this game, you get to demolish what ever the fuck you want, its great!, the only real drawback is the games graphics which you'd hope would have more detail.

Virtua Tennis 2009
Virtua Tennis 2009 does not improve much over its predecessor and feels like more of a minor upgrade then a new experience. For those looking for something new, you'll be disappointed seeing as how the game doesn't offer much as far as "New" goes. Amongst everything that is new the one thing that seems worth mentioning is the fact that now the game can be played online which is new to the series. What does make this game fun though is the amount of effort it takes to get to the top, you must go through practice matches, mini-games (that are a little out of the ordinary), and of course tournaments if you want to be among the best. Seeing as how the game offers so little over its last installment leaves me to feel that if you own Virtua Tennis 3 your not missing out on much.

Red Faction: Guerrilla
Red Faction: Guerrilla offers a ton of destruction and fun. The games main premise involves you freeing zones from the EDF (Earth Defense Force). It takes place on Mars and is more fun then interesting. You pretty much get to destroy anything, the explosions are just great. Depending on how you decide to destroy a structure dictates how it crumbles to the ground. While trying to free zones players have access to story and side missions. You can even purchase and upgrade your weapons and tools. There are a variety of online modes that include the same level of destruction and the different types of weapons / tools, whether it be a gun, hammer, or backpack, etc, either way your bound to enjoy yourself with up to 15 other players.

Fuel
Fuel is a racing game that that involves you racing on rough terrain along its map which is with out a doubt massive. It offers the ability to switch in and out of free-ride mode at any time. Fuel is what the games money is known as, so every time you win a race you get fuel which can then be used to purchase vehicles and other camps to get more races from. Races can be accessed by driving around and finding them or through your menu. One fun thing about fuel are the races and the fact that you can take any means to get to a check point so if you don't like staying on the road then you'll enjoy yourself except its usually harder when not sticking to the main route and as we all know you gotta be number 1 to win. Fuel gives you a lot to explore but some may not find that as exciting as others and just wanna get into a race. One major flaw is how the game reloads every time you crash. It makes no sense why this should happen, we all wanna see awesome crashes like we do in burnout. The A.I. can be hard or really easy at times which isn't necessarily a fun thing.

Damnation
Oh man, I don't know where to start, this is going to be a very short review considering there is only but so many ways you can say something sucks. Everything that you can think of pretty much sucks in this game, from frame-rate, loading, controls, graphics, multiplayer, and story (seeing as how you wont play long enough to figure it out). To put it simply this game is better served as a paper weight or some money back from Gamestop. The one thing that is nice is the games cover, other then that some of the environments might look nice but that's it.

UFC 2009: Undisputed
UFC 2009: Undisputed graphics are amazing and it truly captures the real feel of a UFC fight. The roster for this game is incredible, featuring 80 fighters. The controls are good besides the learning curve for grappling, the gameplay is great (especially when you get a flash k.o.). It's a must own for all UFC fans and fighting fans.

Bionic Commando
Bionic Commando takes place several years after the original. Like it's predecessor the game revolves around the main character Nathan's bionic arm. The controls are difficult at first and will take time and patience before you find yourself swinging around wildly. How the gameplay works around the arm is really fun, you have the ability to grab enemies, launch cars, and grapple onto pretty much anything. You'll be able to travel large distances once you get the hang of it. One frustrating thing about the game is collecting items, items will not be counted as collected until you reach a checkpoint whilst having it, if you happen to die before a checkpoint it is no longer collected and you must get it again. It's multiplayer doesn't do justice either seeing as how it's pitted more towards run and gun combat though as mentioned earlier the games emphasis is on the bionic arm.

Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic
Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic was released on the PSN (PlayStation Network) for $10. This game is weird and funny, but then gets boring and doesn't really make you want to play more then a few times. The song that plays over and over again while in the menu gets really annoying real fast. It's gameplay is different and fun but can also be very frustrating when trying to get a high score considering its not that easy for some of the challenges. It has multiplayer but not online which is a draw back. Just as its name suggests it's gameplay uses rag doll physics. It also offers a create a player system which is amusing and fun just don't go expecting your character to look anything like you. When you beat the challenges and get certain scores you'll unlock more items for your created character to wear such as boxing gloves, bear ears, etc.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate
Wanted: Weapons of Fate is an ok game overall. The game focuses a lot around a cover system that is exciting and unique as it helps bring the fast paced action that you'd want from a game like this to life. Like the movie you'll be able to curve bullets and perform other actions, just make sure you pay attention to your adrenaline bar because if you don't have any adrenaline then your out of luck. Though the cover system works out perfect its flaw lies in how much the game relies on it, you'll find that the game is very repetitive. You pretty much follow the same plan, go from cover to cover and shoot until you get to the end. As if this wasn't bad enough you will only be doing this for about 5 hours long considering that's how long it will take you to complete it. Even with all this, what truly makes a game like this no more then a rental is the fact that it gives you no reason to ever go back and play it again as it offers nothing more, not even multiplayer.

The Wheelman
It's story is seriously lacking considering it offers no real reason why your doing the things you do throughout the game. From the start your given a very vague explanation of what the game is about and that explanation will be the only one you'll have. As for gameplay, the game can be fun for a few hours if your bored and have nothing better to do, but that's it. The graphics don't do it justice but you have a series of different moves you can do while in a vehicle such as jump from one vehicle into another or spin your car to shoot behind you and some more, because of these fun elements the graphics don't really bother. Though the game is accessible it is stupid and doesn't even offer multiplayer leaving it as nothing more then a weekend rental.

Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 5 is an action packed game that as in past Resident Evil games has you stuck in the middle of a virus outbreak. The game offers some really fun co-op both offline and online. It's considered by some to be Resident Evil 4 with updated graphics, which it can feel like, the thing is this isn't a bad thing since it was an amazing game, it just makes it feel like nothing new has been added. One major complaint that most people have with this game is the fact that you cannot move and shoot, apparently its to make everything more intense. For some this really sucks considering we all wanna run and shoot but for others it helps it stay true to the series which not much of this game does. You'll find its not the kind of Resident Evil game that your used to, it's more a fun action game then a survival horror one. It doesn't truly scare you like the past games did.

Killzone 2 is a FPS (First-Person Shooter). It's a sequel to the original Killzone in which you were fighting the Helghast (Enemy Faction) on your planet known as Vekta. Well now the ISA (Your Faction) takes the fight to the enemies home in Helghan. Killzone 2 boasts beautiful graphics that you wont see on any other console game released thus far. The online is unmatched, you'll be playing for days on end, it offers different classes that can be fun and frustrating. Each class has there own unique abilities and weapons along with a ranking and badge system that gives players more abilities and fun. It supports up to 32 players online for some crazy wars. Skate 2
As with some sequels it improves over the original. Some new elements have been added while leaving what was good as is. You now have the ability to get off your board and walk around which is nice though feels very uncomfortable in the way its executed, the way you have to control your walking and how the camera angle is some of the worst I've seen, its just plain uncomfortable. One plus from being able to get of your board is that now you can move objects around such as ramps, benches, rails, etc. This makes pulling off some crazy trick lines even more fun now that you have more control on how you pull them off. You now have access to even more tricks which is always a plus, hand plants are no possible along with foot plants, hippy jumps, and more. One major "Why would you do that?" is how the games film element that was present in the first game is now being charged for as DLC (Downloadable Content).

The Lord Of The Rings: Conquest
The Lord Of The Rings: Conquest allows you to play through two campaigns being either the good guys or the bad guys. It is obviously heavily influenced by Star Wars: Battlefront. From the start of the game you will only have access to the good campaign, once done you unlock the bad one. The main gameplay for both is the same, the only thing that changes is the characters in which you will be using. Though your given the option of picking between a mage, warrior, archer, or scout, its exactly the same in both campaigns which doesn't do much for those looking for variety. Throwing combos sucks since pressing buttons doesn't mean you will get the response you want, instead one move must be completely finished until another one is performed, this takes a lot a way from the feeling this game should have. The game does have online, but only has 4 modes and from the matches we've played it was more just war then strategy, and wasn't much fun.

Rock Band 2
Rock Band 2 is a fun exciting party game that makes you feel like your truly a part of a band. When playing on the higher difficulties its as if the notes match the real thing and your really playing the song. This game is definitely addictive along with some great tracks on disc and available to download.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe is surprisingly an ok game. The game features a total of 22 characters from both sides along with some new fighting mechanics. Introduced into the series are free fall fighting (when players fight in the air as both fighters are falling to a lower level in an arena), rage mode (makes you stronger and allows you to break your opponents guard), klose kombat (both fighters exchanging hits for a few as the camera zooms in), and test your might (when a fighter is smashed through a series of walls and both players must repeatedly tap buttons), they are fun but nothing groundbreaking. One thing that is cool is how throughout each fight your character will bruise and their clothes will tear. As for the story mode, both stories are pretty much the same. A portal has somehow been opened that allows both sides to cross each others worlds, you have the option of picking either side, though you play with a specific character depending on the cutscene. All in all, if your looking for a fun fighting game for a few hours then this is might be the game for you.
